AufgabeTask

Für eine Bearbeitungsstrecke, in der Schalungselemente nach dem Baustelleneinsatz wieder instand gesetzt werden, sollten die Betriebsdaten erhoben, der Ablauf analysiert und das Verhalten der Anlage mittels einer Diskreten Event Simulation bewertet werden. Ziel war es, Ansatzpunkte für eine bessere Kapazitätssteuerung zu finden. For a processing line that reconditions formwork elements after use on construction sites, the task was to collect operating data, analyse the workflow and evaluate the line's behaviour using a discrete event simulation. The aim was to identify starting points for better capacity control.

VorgehenApproach

• Einarbeitung in die Abläufe vor Ort und Erstellung eines Wertstromdiagramms (Lucidchart), um die Strecke im Gesamtprozess einzuordnen.Familiarisation with the workflows on site and creation of a value stream map (Lucidchart) to place the line within the overall process.
• Auswertung von Vergangenheitsdaten und statistische Aufbereitung in Excel — Histogramme sowie Anpassung an eine geeignete Verteilung als Eingangsgröße für die Simulation.Analysis of historical data and statistical preparation in Excel — histograms and fitting to a suitable distribution as input for the simulation.
• Mehrtägige Datenaufnahme vor Ort: Erfassung der Prozesszeiten mit drei Kameras, anschließend Videoschnitt und Auswertung mit Shotcut.Several days of on-site data collection: recording process times with three cameras, followed by video editing and analysis in Shotcut.
• Aufbau der Diskreten Event Simulation in AnyLogic (Process Modeling Library) — beginnend mit einem einfachen Modell, iterativ erweitert und gegen die erhobenen Daten validiert.Building the discrete event simulation in AnyLogic (Process Modeling Library) — starting from a simple model, extended iteratively and validated against the collected data.

Was ich mitgenommen habeWhat I took away

Die Anlage ließ sich in AnyLogic so abbilden, dass das Modell das reale Verhalten belastbar wiedergab. Auf dieser Grundlage konnten mehrere Verbesserungsmaßnahmen gegeneinander abgewogen und dem Unternehmen begründet vorgeschlagen werden. Für mich war es der erste Fall, in dem eine Simulation nicht Selbstzweck war, sondern eine Entscheidung vorbereitet hat — und in dem die Qualität der Eingangsdaten wichtiger war als das Modell selbst. The line could be represented in AnyLogic well enough for the model to reproduce real behaviour reliably. On that basis, several improvement measures were weighed against one another and proposed to the company with supporting evidence. For me it was the first case where a simulation was not an end in itself but prepared a decision — and where the quality of the input data mattered more than the model itself.
